Not sure when G's back from work yet so I might meet him down there. Maybe drop me a line before you head up and we'll cruise down together.

Let me know if you need a hand with the paint job. I've done my fair share of DIY painting on bike frames etc! Also, did you manage to figure out how to adjust your coilies?

Yeah I know how to do em now, but still haven't done it though!! Cant bare the thought making it HIGHER...:headhurt:
Yeah we'll defo cruise it together, probly be ready to leave by half7? How hard do you think refurbing the wheels would be as the front are a bit scuffed.

A proper refurb isn't worth while on the stock rims. It costs like £400 to have them fixed up properly! Best bet is to get the dremel out and a set of files. Neaten them up as good a possible. Then ideally have them bead blasted to remove stock paint, primer them up and chuck on a load of paint.

I had my D90's painted for £120 including the detailing on the Porsche logos. You could get yours done for probably £80-100. Bare in mind that masking the rims to paint the lip another colour is a tricky job!

Cheers fella, great to know she's inspiring! Mine are 16" 7j width, which I believe are actually from an 'R' as opposed to general versions. I personally wouldn't go any bigger with these wheels, otherwise they start to look like any other multispokes imo.

Thanks... i think? The splitters off again after smashing it again you thought id have learned my lesson by now?
I think the eyebrows need to be seen in the flesh as they look 100x better than in pics, but I appreciate peoples views.
Plans, well I'm still waiting for a some of money to come in so undecided wheather to spend it on BT or brakes, or cosmetics such as paint work and panels etc??

Small update

Well haven't had a chance to do a great deal due to the weather, but I managed to change the front discs and pads a few weeks ago, the car came with a spare set up when I bought it. Couldn't afford Bill set up so had to fit the Honeywell discs and Pagid pads which are actually ok tbh.

Didn't manage to get picture of the finished article, but they're all nice and shiney now!

Also had a failed attempt on fitting my TIP! Had it all going smoothly and orderly until it came to undoing the allen key bolt to take the stem off from the turbo. Basically I couldn't jack the car up high enough for me to get under!! I was using a trolley jack to then slide the axel stands under but just couldn't raise the sucker! I even tried parking the car on a kurb in the street but I still couldn't get under... It was approaching 5:00 so thought I'd piece everything back to standard, much to my disappointment, as it would be dark.

Got a couple of shots but worth much until I find a better solution to get her in the air.

On the plus side however, reading through previous receipts for the car I have a 4bar fpr fitted already as the previous owner was getting her all prepped for k03s. Naturally I must continue what was not finished so watch this space!
As I have the fpr fitted but still running k03, would that explain why I only get 200miles ish to a full tank??
