getting a full respray in january as the omvi yellow has faded pretty badly. i was thinking of changing the front bumper to the cupra r front. just wondering if the grille's are expensive to buy as all bumpers i can see for sale, say 'grille not included'. also, the front fogs....will the fogs on the cupra bumper, fit directly into the cupra r ones? also how much do you think i should be paying for a cupra r bumper

The grilles aren't all that dear - about £18 for either foglight grille, and I seem to remember it's about £45 for the centre one
The LCR foglights are round (as opposed to the oval Cupra 'lights)
Don't know what the new price is for these - I have a feeling they could be about £50ea. ...but not sure

if you are looking at a cupra R bumper on ebay thats not OEM. then dont bother. they dont fit well, and crack as soon as they get a slight knock.
dont forget you can make up some money by selling your old onvi bumper so someone like me who will respray it anyway.

None taken, i know the prefacelift bumper looks like the average 50 year old women on crystal meth! But i genuinely prefer the facelift bumper over the R bumper.

I got quoted £307 excl. VAT and delivery for a Cupra R front bumper in Flash Red... which I suppose works out OK as I won't need to spray but jeeeeeese you thought it would be a bit cheaper on the old credit crunch and what not
I've used a couple of ebay fiberglass bumpers before (R32 and another Corsa C bumper) and didn't have any problems at all, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy a LCR one from there either personally
I'd stick with the standard facelift bump, but I am one of those that prefer it to an LCR one. Spend the extra on some other mods...
How much would you expect to pay for a complete LCR bumper with grills and fogs, i've got one i've been keeping for a project?

I think it depends on the colour of the car.
Facelift with bright colours looks great with the black grill contrast
R looks good in red only I think.

If any of you giys want a Cupra R bumper I know a company that has one. They may even have a facelift LC one in stock.
They have a full LCR kit in stock for £500 which is great to get all in one. It took me a while to find the LCR kit for mine.
