w8 light should add about 2k.modified cars don't sell well unless bought by an enthusiast.then don't expect your money back on mods.that said small diesels are holding up pretty well in the current climate.

Have a look on Ebay and Autotrader and Pistonheads. When i was looking at buying my car a few weeks back (TDI Sport 130) they was going for £4300-4800 with that sort of mileage.

If the 312mm brakes aren't on yet, I wouldn't bother. They won't add any value - might put some people off. You'll be able to sell the bits very easily.

Like Jase said, if it's got different bumpers/alloys/lights/brakes then you'll put off a lot of joe public. They'll think it's been buggered about with, and won't want to start telling the insurers about modifications. If you have all the originals it would probably be worth putting it back to standard. Or you *might* strike lucky and find an enthusiast who'll be happy with it as it is.

Might also be worth getting 12 months MOT on it, if you think it'll pass OK.

The Wrong side of the Pennines
Just popped on Parkers

1. 1.9TDi Sport 3d Change
2. 2002/52 Change
3. Average mileage: 60,000 miles Change
4. Adjust for mileage and options Change

No options selected

Original Price £13,495
Franchised Dealer £4,320
Independent Dealer £4,030
Private Good £3,455
Private Poor £2,670
Part Exchange £2,985

THe value of mods is subjective, your car needs brakes and wheels regardless. Obviously, you could remove all the mods and return to standard to see some of your money back on those.

Good luck mate, after your first post I said £3.5k. before reading any other replies.

However now you mention the W8 light, easy £3.5k... still.

Wow my car has lost over 50% value in 6 montsh if this is the case lol! I think you may get a bit more if its in super nic as small economic cars are holding well at the moment.

I'd say 4k is a decent price.

I think that 3.5k for my 88k TDi Sport (02 plate) in VGC is worth 3.5k :)

Yup, end of the day its worth what someone will pay for it. So if your not in any rush, wait for the right buyer.
