i think it depends on what you buy.
bog standard map will overwrite current software, select plus will leave the original and add extra programs.

so keep it short you're wrong.......

we offer variable switching so you can have the power the way you want it! but if you want lots low down you'll also definatley want a pump!

Assuming you already have stage 1. If the stage 2 is £50+vat, how much would stage 2+ cost?

As my car is k03, how much to upgrade from k03 stage 2+, to k04 stage 2+. Software only. Thanks

pump will depend on which one you go for...a popular option is the autotech, stage2+ is different software all together! not just switching

to upgrade from stage2 to stage2+ is £50+vat

what do you mean to upgrade to K04 stage2+?? if your car is a K03 and you want to go to a K04 setup you'll be wanting stage3 for the K04

martyn im in love with your leon those side graphics are made with aerograph right ?

i have revo stage II in a FR and i love it, for me revo is the best choice seconded by apr, what i like from revo is the select plus and if your tuner is friendly he can do it for you without charge (change some parameters to adapt the tune better to your car and needs)

i have atp downpipe which is enough for the stage II give a nice sound and is relatively cheap and evoms intake with bsh dv relocation next is pump meth and fmic to go to the max of the k03

my car is untouched by mustangs gt, porsche cayenne S, subaru wrx, bmw 325i, porsche boxter, bmw z4...

im very happy with my tune and tuner very good revo dealer here in venezuela and every time i see the back of my leon with the revo sticker i smile :D

Cheers Carl. The reason i ask is i have a K04 turbo that i picked up cheap with some of the pipework needed and hope to fit it in the future. Possibly using REVO software.

When choosing my stage 1 software i decide against REVO because the local agent said that some customers had had issues with stage2 and swapped back to stage1. This put me off so i went with another tuner. With hindsight i wish i had gone with REVO and believe the issues he was talking about were whats know as fuel cuts.

As i will be getting an Autotech HPFP upgrade very soon fuel cuts should not be an issue. I already have TBE, Twintercooler, forge DV so once a have the HPFP upgrade i would like the software to go with it. This will mean i will be at a crossroads as to which tuner to go with again. If i had chosen REVO for stage1 this would be a no brainer.

Could you just confirm for me how much it would cost to go straight to stage2+ for the K03 with a SPS Select Plus switch, and then the cost to upgrade to the suitable software once i have installed the K04 unit? Cheers Carl

Injectors on the K03s cars are also different to those in the K04 cars.

Good luck. They are very rare. Also, you will be lucky if someone is willing to break the engine for components.

I get the feeling you dont fancy my chances of finding any. To be honest i dont either but i have to try at that cost. I have sourced most of my Mods second hand and enjoyed the challenge. I have heard that RS4 injectors have been used by some and are about half the price. This would mean a custom map to suit but this was my other option to the REVO software

No idea about the RS4 injectors but i guess it is possible.

Regarding breaking the engine, the reason I say it is unlikely is because the chances are, if/when TFSi engines become available, they will want to sell them whole rather than minus x,y or z.

Out of interest, where did you get the K04 turbo from?

I got the turbo from ebay. No other parts were available from the seller

Got a quote from Seremotors today for £77 per injector. Thats a saving of nearly £150 on a set.....Top man!!! At that price its probably not worth buying second hand as they are sensitive items and can get chewed up when being removed if the correct tool is not used. Especially by a Scrapmerchant with sausage fingers and a 10" adjustable.:headhurt:

You can just go straight to Stage 1 as mentioned above, we quote 300 but typically you will see a touch more.

Sorry to sort of high-jack the thread but 'search' leads me here. REVO Stage 1 on an LCR is quoted at 265bhp but as you say above for the MK2, is it likely i'll see more power than 265 on a MK1?

We do a free trial for 5 hours on the Cupra, it’s around 20% less potent than the full software. The full software has a 30 day money back guarantee so you may as well go the whole hog and try the full fat version!

Is this true for the free trial for the MK1 LCR also?

No. Totally different engine and set up on the Leon Cupra R.

I believe so :)
