cold starting

I have noticed something abit odd recently with my leon tdi fr. Whenever you start it cold all the lights dim and get brighter with the rev pf the engine is this normal?

As soon as its warmed up its fine but seems odd to me as none of my other cars have ever done this that ive noticed

Could be just the glow plugs on, they draw about 50 amps from the battery so that could dim the lights

normal mate and quite most cars.

Quite normal, Its most likely its been doing it all along, just that you only notice it now because its darker when you go/return from work. No need to worry.

So paranoid about this car ... goin from petrol to diesel , all the smoke you get and the other day i got engine management light for glow plug control unit but its been reset and nothing has come back on so hoping its just a dodgy connection or one off.

Its my most expensive car ive bought so far and the warranty period has just run out ... PAAARRAANOOIOIA
