When I moved my front tyres to the back I noticed my front left tyre had worn on the inside shoulder....

Although I having said that i think it was due to low pressure.

i had pirrelli p zero nero on my car as standard, fantastic tyre for 3,000miles. then the tyre wear started getting excessive, they tend to wear very fast on the inside shoulders. Have you hit any big pot holes or anything that could knock the tracking out?

this is true :) they don't get knocked out easily, but if you have hit something a while back, then you would have been running for a little while with the tracking out. this could cause uneven tyre wear

They all do it, if you contact Seat thats how they are set up lol.

Replace the bushes which will slow it down, but you wont ever get rid of it.

All I can say is if you nearly got 10k out of front tyres, well done.

I know yeah! 10k on fronts is pretty good, well, depends how heavy the right foot is but on my last car i went through 3pairs of fronts in about 11k  so your not doing too bad :D
Wrong alignment and tyre presures will make it worse.

Friend of mine with a TDi FR had the same issue and took the car back to Seat.

They made loads of adjustments to the front suspension and I think that sorted it. I can't remember what, but something hadn't been set-up right from the factory.

As an aside I am on my second set of tyres and have done over 32000 miles so it is possible to get decent wear out of them. Both sets have been P Zero Nero, got 20000 out of the first set (swapped front to back after 10K) and will get similar on this set I should imagine.

Also, they do seem to wear more on the inner edge than the outer, had tracking & alignment checked after having the second set put on and things were OK.

Im lucky if I get 4,000 out of mine. I remember throwing on brand new tyres the day before cadwell earlier this year and they had worn a tad after 100 miles on the track :D

I had brand new budget tyres on mine when I got my car and thought I may as well use them up before getting decent ones. Whilst fitting my coilovers I took my wheels off not knowing anything was wrong with them and the inside's of both were shredded but I'm guessing that's coz my tracking was off! They had lasted about 4.5K!!

Budget tyres normally last alot longer due to the hardness of rubber. Thats scary!

I know yeah, budget tyres last alot longer normaly like you say becuase they are a harder compound.
Ive done a similar thing took off a wheel to do some work and chucked it on the grass, went to put it back on and the inside edge was a mess  not on the ibiza though. It seems to wear evenly but the fronts are going down alot quicker than the rears! hmmmm wonder why  maybe the 300lbs of torque and my heavy heavy right foot  I had it wheel spin the other day in 5th on a dual carriageway, forced induction is dangerous! :cartman:
