Here we go then. All the mods ive ever done right from the very start.

Just after I picked it up.

Strut Brace, polished oil and water caps, filter and blue vac hose for some reason.

A trip to Forge saw a nice intercooler and Tip on the car

Lovely set of Autostyle custom carpet mats

Rear strut brace

H+R 25mm front and 28mm rear anti roll bars

Cupra R leather handbrake and Seat Sport gear knob, Steering wheel, cruise control and headunit in centre console

New set of Ultraleggeras

Dyno run with the K03 fitted

Snapped my inner cv joint (first of many)

Defi Boost Gauge in Nomad piller

Spec stage 3+ clutch and Alloy flywheel. Also fitted Peloquins LSD/ATB

ProAlloy FMIC (pic does not show how it was finally fitted)

Front mount fitted lower and centrally in bumper. Bumper also cut-out.

TT/S4 Rear calipers and Discs

Grinded, painted and bushed front subframe

After i played around a bit

Small issue with Diff bolt snapping causing hole in gearbox casing. I build my own box's now so i dont get stuff like that happening.

Picked up a (i bought two) Seat Sport baffled sump from my new employer (before i started)

Carbon Fibre Bonnet

Harness Bar (Free plug, i make them myself now)

Rose jointed trackrod ends (inverted on car to help bump steer) and eccentric top mounts with extra caster

BT time. As i just started a Backdraft i thought it was time to up the power. Used the cast manifold and the Garret GT2860RS. Just had to make up a custom downpipe and decat section

I has some fun up at inters winning the Seat class on both days

The clutch started playing up and i had to drive the 30 miles home doing clutchless changes. There was a slight issue to which Spec took no responsibility.

The car say on stands for a few weeks while i argued with Spec. I even bought a second Ibiza Diesel while i was waiting and i needed something more economical for the trip to work.

New stage 4+ clutch eventually arrived. It seems ok so far.

I picked up a second brand new carbon seat for the passenger side nice and cheap. Now they match.

Also stripped out the sound proofing. Worst thing that can be done. It just takes ages. Put a red top racing battery in the boot. Loads more room in the engine bay.

Went over to our local rollers Marlins to get a couple to runs done to see what it was at then took a trip to pod to see what it could do there. Graphs show 4th and 5th gear runs. Managed 13 secs dead at 111 mph. Not too shabby as its not the final map.

The car went over to Revo to have the mapping finally finished. Its much better. Loads more timing added and the fueling is spot on. It pulls much harder. I had mentioned that the box was sounding a tad noisy and if it went then '****' happens and guess what, 2nd gear gave up. I blame the new R888's id just fitted on the front! It stripped 2nd on the input shaft and a couple on the output. 2nd on the input is not a separate gear and you have to replace the whole shaft. Luckly i had picked up a box when i put a hole in the casing and the gears were fine. When ive fitted the new gears they are off to get Cryogenically treated along with Hooch's.

Im waiting for some polly rear windows and rear screen. Ive ordered a new egt sensor after a bust mine. Ive bought a load of genuine front discs cheap that im getting grooved as mine are very dead along with new pads. The dash is coming out to get flocked and all the crap behind it removed and binned. After that i still need to make my new seat subframes, then it will be a cage, engine build then maybe bigger turbo.

I want to fit some flush fit bonnet pins as im worried the bonnet catch wont take the high speed runs for much longer, but im worried it will look poo. These are the ones im thinking of:

The diesel is coming on nicely. Its lowered, got my superleggeras on and a black and grey cupra interior. I welded on a straight through centre section taking the centre box out. It didnt make it any louder, but there are no holes in the exhaust now. Its lasting well for 120,000 miles!
