only prob about cheap kits is that they may burn ur lens on the head light, is urs oki?

mine are fine mate, never had a problem and i have been running them for 2 years...

also i wired my dipped beams up not using the stock wiring loom.
i used the headlight switch wired to a relay, then the relay connections are wired to the battery and to the lights.
i upgraded the cables so it can easly handle the power without any risk to the loom,
never hand a problem

it has been done but you lose the 'flash' as the bulbs take a few seconds to warm up...

if you dont care about that then, the emitted light is immense out of the main beam

Ah right, I like to "falsh" people, so I wont bother! What about a "normal" bulb that looks similar to the HID's?

i had the nightbreakers in before the hid's and the piaa's - definitely one of the best upgrade bulbs around imo if i remember right, the place i bought them from on ebay chucked in a set of nice Phillips sidelight bulbs foc. i cringe when i think what i have spent just on bulbs!!!!!!!!!!

Just to update you all, the HID kit I purchased is spot on! Works perfect with the auto lights, they work fine, the same as the normal bulbs only 10x brighter!

Are the main beam H7 bulbs? What night breakers do I need to get?

Thanks

Hi Guys

Only just picked up my leon yesterday and already looking into the mods. Just thought i'd let you know that at the moment there is a group buy going on over at the uk-mkivs forum for the hids4u lights, they can get 33% off but just need a couple more people.

http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/220568.aspx?PageIndex=1

I'm not sure how group buys work here as i'm new to this forum so dont want to start anything off just yet but just thought i'd let you know.
