Anyone got any answers for me? I'm interested to know about the failure of your HID units, as I want to test these ones I have got!

reckon yours must be ok. mine were perfect with the ignition on but the moment i started the engine the headlights flickered like a dodgy fluorescent tube :( must be to do with the control box regulating the current.
oh well, i paid more but after all the hassle i was just glad the HIDs4u worked properly :D

So far.. so good, they seem fine! I'v etried them with engine on and off, both now fitted with no errors showing, no signs of flashing just yet, dont know how long it takes for them to flash??

Now. how have you all fitted the ballasts, How have you brought the wires out of the light pod? Not sure if I want to drill the light pod and fit the grommet, or is there no other way???

Drill bit out by the looks of things, a simple hole in the plastic looks like it will do the trick!

it was dead simple to drill a 25-30mm hol in each bulb cover and with the grommet supplied it actually looks very neat. the flat part of the headlamp unit was ideal to mount the control box and the wires tucked up out of the way nicely under the wing.

All fitted, and done, i've just put the battery side one next to the battery, not secured down, just tiewrapped the wires down, looks good to me!

I've taken some pics!

I've also sourced some LED's from the same guy, I will write a review soon, with the HID's and the LED's!
