Quality wise they look exactly the same as the hids4u kit, and they don't offer an anti-glare bulb which i think is worth getting if you can source it from somewhere else

as long as you have the seller's guarantee you should be ok. i have wasted a lot of money on various bulbs, sidelights and another HID kit :(
i can only speak for the HIDs4u and Im happy at last lol. I reset my headlamp alignment after lowering the car and looking into the lightbox on the machine nearly blinded me

I have emailed the seller back to see what he says, so I will update everyone! As long as the bulbs are the same as the golf mk 5 I think I may take that risk! Can always re sell them on eBay if need be!

i cant see them working as far as i can see there is no mention of them being designed to work with the CANBUS system.

they are the correct bulb size but that means **** all to be quite frank lol

It does
There are lots of cheaper kits available on ebay now. These can bring up errors on your on board computer and not last as long as they should and will not project the correct beam pattern. Our kits are fully Can-Bus System compatable.

I for one am watching this with interest - canbus is a b******s full stop. I fitted LED interior bulbs but had to take them out as they stayed lit (well, glowed) when I was driving. I guess yet again its due to the low current consumption of the LED's - there are enough residual amps in the circuit to partially illuminate the bulbs :(
If I understand it correctly, the Altea stop/tail bulb is actually only single filament and the car provides two levels of power for brightness depending whether it is for tail lamps or for braking  I cant get my head round this :headhurt:

You're not wrong! Can bus is a nightmare!
I test pre production automotive parts at work - switches being one them. We have to measure if there's any activation during the test. Only problem is that each switch will differ as little as 0.001 volts.
It's a complete PITA to work which switch is which.

Hi all,
So far.. its GOOD news!

Just wondered what sort of problems people were having with this flickering? I've just fitted mine for 5 mins to try out, and there is no flickering, set to auto lights, and they just came on, only done drivers side so far, and havnt had the chance to fit the ballasts, so i've just put the normal bulbs in till tomorrow.

But just wondered what probs people have come accross so I can report back, also was engine on/off, auto lights on/off ect........

Thanks

ill get back to you all tomorrow! Didnt pay alot for these, we may have a break through!

Anyone got any answers for me? I'm interested to know about the failure of your HID units, as I want to test these ones I have got!
