£3.71 now yes ...

Wait where bidding ends :)
Could be a 100 eventually

I don't want it that badly!

I've already got a fag lighter/power point in the boot is this not standard then

Just to confuse things further then mine's not actually a Leon, it's a Toledo but as the dash is the same I thought I'd get more response to my original question in the Leon section (no offence to the Tolly guys!)

I've got one too mate, think they were standard but the fella wants this to be switchable, so he can cut the power from the dash, its for an orange roof mounted warning light. So it can stay plugged in and be switched on and off when required while driving or not getting out.

Spot on mate, but mine doesn't have one in the boot as standard (being a 51 plate Tolly) so will need to run one through myself.

Think I'm going to run a new power cable right through from the battery so I can have it separately fused etc.

you can get block adapters that have about 4 or 5 on that run from the singe point.

Yeah, I've already got a 2 block one mounted under the dash up front. For the rear one though I'm going to get a proper hard wired surface mounted one and mount it in flush with the plastic trim in the boot so it looks like it was standard fit.
Just need to get the switching sorted.

some may say lala land....
somebody mentioned that they had the heated seat switch where the useless cup holder is...

would sticking in the switches be enough or does it need fuse relay & special expensive seat seats to get the warm bum feeling?
had leather in old car and heated in winter was great at 5am :)

hey Tartan how about the Taxi switch? on Leon and toledos used as taxi's you can have a switch to turn on light in roof etc. Think you'll find part no in the mod part no's thread? not sure what it looks like but it will fit in to dash!

Guys, what switch goes here ^^
I assume it's something on high spec models only or an option of some sort as mine is an SE and has nothing.

Just wondering as I want to wire in a swithed rear ciggy plug and want an OEM switch for it!

Cheers!

Ha that pic you've stole off ebay is my car, it was used as a demo to promote the sticky back aluminium ha.. (i done that :>)

AFAIK the full leather interior has heating elemenents in the seats by standard.
Wether you have the option, or not...

Maybe someone can confirm this ?

You'd then just need the switch. And maybe the cable-loom, unless it is already
in the car.

Interesting - didn't know about the Taxi switch - A bit of google and searching on here brought up the SEAT part no. 1M2959561 56J (note that the one listed here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=62535&highlight=taxi+switch I think is the LHD version - I'll confirm once I've been to the dealer!)
Here's a photo for anyone who's interested:
