mate if all you want is a 3 pillar holder then wiuden your search, ...google maybe,

no one so far has given you a link so try asking nomad direct as they manufacture them,

or make your own in the centre vent as a few people on here have done.

Been all the way, this thread was my last resort.
Nomad only has 2 pod and none show up on google for the Leon.

Hence the second part of my question :
What VAG models have the same pillars as the Leon ?

Yes, same as Leon, not ?

The BEST vent pods I have seen com from SWG Motorsport.

I contacted them and they announced they are working on Audi A3 & Seat models
as we speak. Expected to be ready in a few weeks !!!

Nicest thing is that the vent is still fully functional as a vent too :)

i think 3 gauges in the a post would be too much. i found 2 could be obstructive at junctions so 3 would annoy me.

ive now put all 3 gauges on top of the dash board. very easy to read as i drive and not visually obstructive. possibly not the most aesthectic looking but ideal function wise.

id agree the mech gauges tend to respond better on the boost then leccys as the pressure is direct to gauge insted of going to a signal box, converted and then to gauge. the difference isnt huge. you cant see a delay.
the temp and pressure work the same.

havnt looked at the multi readers, great idea though if they are easy to read.

with the race diagnostics guage, i cant notice a delay at all?

boost, oil temp, rpm, mph, bhp, torque all pretty much instant

yep true... but the signal goes from boost to ecu to gauge in your case (i think) so it will be a tiny bit behind a mech one with a direct air feed.. but not enough to cause a difference.

each gauge you wire in works independently to the ecu readings, your adding extra senders and wiring for that extra reading, direct to the gauge in your car.
whereas your system gives you the ecu readings. in the real world theres no difference.

depends what you want from the gauge.

With digital gauges you also have the problem of update rate of the data.
It takes samples every 10th of a second or so. (And with our ecu's even less I think).

You will best see this effect in those digital speedos in some cars.
No fluent display, bit skipping all the time.
The faster you accelerate, the more skipping occurs.

That's why a dial is better for variable inputs.

See i agree with the boost gauge but oil temp and preassure id be happy with just a digital gauge.

but £205 installed on a leon is very pricey

Well, today I received my Nomad pillar ...

My God, What a total piece of CR@P !!!

There's no clips on the back (!) and somebody DRILLED A FRIGGIN' HOLE in it !!!!!!!!!!! (!!!!)
For crying out loud !!

It looks totally cheap too. Some homemade fiberglass hobby project.
Pods look dented , textured.
Color doesn't match OEM interior
It also has an overwhelming chemical smell, which made me nauseous and gasping for air (!)

Would be a total insult to my car to install this "thing"

So it was sent straight back to Nomad , within an hour ...

Now, Anybody knows where to get some real decent quality pillars ??

I have a nomad and it's fine, looks oem. Only thing is you may have to put a screw in the top of it to stop it from falling off and hitting you on the face. They originally velcro on.

And you accepted it with a hole in it ??? :confused:

It must look hideous in your car then ...

Why doesn't Nomad just simply buy OEM pillars, and then mold pods to it ???
Clips and all ... Should be perfect.

But I guess they don't make enough profit from it then ...
