Poor show Jamie, unfortunately why am I not surprised at shoddy workmanship and failure to communicate any issues to the customer. Whatever happened to actually giving a toss about customers?

indeed

on a brighter note, the EBC has arrived today....seems very small, and for some reason I thought the unit was bigger, but all good as that will tuck away nicely

rest of the cleaning stuff should be arriving today....now all I need is a fixed car to try it out on........

hopefully, fingers crossed, the car will be fixed by end of play today and I can pick her up in time for her mega clean tomorrow:D

Unlucky Jamie. Unfortunately you are seeing why there are not many people using ATP stuff even though its 'direct fit' to mani and dp as it takes alot to get it fitted and running nicely. No matter what there is always something that comes up when changing to a bigger turbo kit.

ok ok, errors and people at fault have been pointed out in this case.

car is being mended, and that is what is most important here

moving forward hopefully Bill can resolve the boosting issue as well.......

well just spoken to AMD

they are waiting on TPS (specialist VAG parts) to see if they can get the braided water hose

without this, the car is not going anywhere as a standard Seat part will not fit due to the attachment on the other end

so due to the cable not being sufficiently fitted, I now face the possibility of not showing my car this weekend, if parts are not available

if this is the end case, i am going to be absolutely furious to say the least[:@]:censored::ban:

I don't understand how a water hose is anywhere near the driveshaft as mine is miles away from it?

difficult to understand it at the moment, I will speak with AMD at the end of the day to get a better picture, but just purely going on what I have been told so far....

well the car is now completely broken

AMD bled the cylinder which fixed it for a while (as they could not find any leakage), but it started getting worse again as it slowly started to stick and become pressed against the floor again, so the cylinder is definitely being replaced this time

went to start her this morning, to limp her to the garage and now there is no pressure at all to allow it to change gear

AA are on their way and its being trailored to the garage

whats more annoying is I have lost my oil restrictor so have to order another one! dammit!

after this, she is going into Bill on the 14th this month, to get the boost issue sorted

Bummer, but just think how good it will be when Bill sorts it for you. You & Rob "king of the Road".;)

lets hope so mate

reading just from Rob's thread, there will always be issues when upping the power this much over a standard car

there is still a lot of tidying up to do in the engine bay, but getting the core issues like this are important right now

the car does feel quick right now, and will be even more so once the boost issue is sorted....hopefully!!

seeing the lads cars at E38, makes you realise that its all worth it and you have to go through the pain to get to the joy of putting your right foot down:D

well, got the car back from AMD, clutch is now sorted and operating as it should.

car is going to Bill on the 14th for the boost issues to be looked at

one thing though...the car feels quicker?! I read a while back (from Caveo I think) that his felt quicker after a few miles...as if the turbo had loosened up or worn in (his words not mine :D) like a new engine in this instance

am I imagining this, or is it possible?
