must be running a soleniod of some sort off the external wastegate?
looks like the gain is set to high to me to aid spool this intern will cause a spike.
missing some of that graph!

Its got a manual controller. Very oddy plumbed in. Sounds like wastegate flutter when comming on boost.

do you have the brace on the manifold hooch?

I think this may well be causing your cracking as the expansion is stressing it when it cannot move where it want to.

Are both ports of your wastegate pumbed in? got any pix or schematic of what its pumbed like?

whats your current boost level?

lots of questions - sorry

Its not even a crack on the weld. I think the tube is too thin. Its a rose jointed brace, but would it be better if it was braced with a damper of some sort??

Hope u dont mind me answering...? The gate is plumbed to both ports with the bottom going to the charge pipe and the top going to the top of the tb port then off to an odd manual boost contoller. I think its boosting around 2 bar.

You missed out a few 'L's there bill. :)

as my boyfriend said. 1.9bar boost.

rs fab wont warrent it with out a brace as ive already said what youi told me and this was before they even started building it.

the plumbing is as alex said. TB connection tee's one way to a bleed valve and other way to top side of WG. which to me seems weird because rather than restricting boost to the wastegate its just bleeding it off which i doubt it can do fast enough.

i think the problem is its over boosting which is causing the wastegate to chatter. i may try to borrow a inline bleed vale if some one wouldnt mind :):) and have a play.

also wouldnt mind borrowing a forge 006 if anyone feels nice:D

the fueling is full on rich very early during spool Hooch.. thats not going to help spool itself.
do you have the full plot of this?

trouble is the manifold wont be moving in any one direction. mine was rose joint support originally from centre of my turbo, but when it was hot it actually created stress in the thing as it was holding up where it want to expand down and away. mine is thing wall also (1.2mm) so its not material related I dont think.
if yours was plumbed in the base of the wastegate actuator it would push open under boost (pending the bleed valve setting). With is pumbed both side its a boost differential you are trying to control, which is a smaller amount I think.
I see EVO's running ebc's plumbed with turbo outlet to one side and inlet plenum on the other via the solenoid, but this can only be allowing a diferential inside the wastegate actuator to allow it to move. the ebc's on the evo's, were only 2 port.
There are supposed to be control advantages to this dual plumbing, but I have not tried it yet myself. mines plumbed ready to try it, but I will be going basic method initially, using turbo outlet pressure via boost control valve to base of Tial diaphragm.

that is some serious smoothness :)

what controller is that? any links?

measures via a sniffer by tail pipe. only one box in exhaust also.

1st run was mucho lean bill. was running 3.5bar FP. cranked it up to 4BAR to make it safer but is now rich early on, but safer late ron :D

also what does a battery light mean on dash?

im guessing incorrect output from alternator?

comes on as i come on boost?
does knackered alternator do that?
