My new Mk3 Beefa!!

Hey guys

Thought it was about time I officially introduced my new baby...
Had her a week today already and feel like a king every time I get in her!

It's replaced my 1.4 which is a great little car but I was worried about getting bored of the cupra styling, as it's not far from how I made my car look.

I'm sure a few of you guys would agree theres not a boring moment when driving the mk3 cupras! People look at it where ever I go and makes me feel proud, oh and of course having come from 60 to 206 horses make a fair difference...

Thanks mate. Luckily i have a set of standard cupra wheels from the 1.4 so im guna use them as winter runners. An LCR splitter is a priority next week as getting over speed bumps round here is a nightmare! You can kinda make out a few scrapes in the last pic (made by previous owners i may add!)

As soon as I saw the wheels against the car I fell in love! Im going to add the 'Seat sport' and 'OZ racing' stickers to the lip of the rims again, just to finish them off.

Putting the decals back on will finish them off nicely. I did the same with mine.

You have done the same transition as me except mine was a 60bhp 1.4 polo ( effectively the same car).

and what a difference it is!!

the car looks awesome and a good spec to!!

have had mine a month now and still loving it!!

and dont worry about all the jargon you soon catch on to what there all talking about!

Thanks Stani im sure a month into ownership i will be loving it even more! I have a few bit's i want to do to it, for example putting the LCR splitter on, HID's, fit forge TIP which i already have, polishing engine bay and change blue hosing for red, possibly KO3s turbo and bigger breaks.

Yeah she does need a little taming at times... or do I mean the driver! However I am noticing the how thirsty she can be even when simply potting around. I know it's to be expected on this type of car tho. Think Im guna fit the forge TIP on thursday, is that going to make much noticeable gains?

Thank you very much, I happen to agree with you! It's getting it's first bath on thursday, so that'll give me the chance to have a very close inspection. There's a couple panels which need attention from a garage.

Riko's black cupra- Now the fun begins!!

Thought i'd start a progress thread of my own! (can't seem to find my original post) I've had the cupra for about 2 months now and really happy I went for it!
Gave it a good clean today, although not polished or waxed due to time, but think it's come out pretty well considering.

I also completed my first and much needed mod, being an LCR splitter!

Dont think I'll need the holes on the front bumper as the fmic doesn't go any higher than the original gap, although I am thinking about getting the number plate recess smoothed?
Not 100% how low it is, but its about 50/55mm?
