They look like MK4 Cupra wheels and brakes - is this thing still running the old 5x100 setup? Have they actually done anything with the chassis?

New engines....

2.0 lt TDI -> 204 PS
2.0 lt TFSI -> 280 PS
2.5 lt I5 TFSI -> 320 PS/450 Nm

Also for the A1...

1.2 TFSI, 105 PS/175 Nm

Existing engines that stay the same...

1.4 TFSI, 125 PS/200 Nm
1.8 TFSI, 160 PS/250 Nm
2.0 TFSI, 211 PS/350 Nm

Im starting to wonder if the cupra ibiza will get a 2.0TFSI instead of the 1.8TFSI. Its a possibility if the 1.8TFSI is not gonna get upped to 200hp.

Ibiza will probably get all of the engines as listed above barring the 280ps 2.0TFSI and the 2.5 TFSI.

Like we've all said before it's doubtful that the ibiza will see a 200bhp diesel. Petrol with out a doubt but it's much more likely to be the 2litre 170 tdi than it is to be that one.

But the good news for you i imagine is that there will be plenty of people sticking cars with this engine into hedges so you can have it for a transplant.

The diesel biza is much sharper than the petrol one.I think seat people know that.I seriously doubt that they will keep the old engine

What else could it be? It would be awesome if it was the 204ps as that would be bonkers. The 1.9 160 was a seat only engine (far as i know) and they haven't made it for a very long time and really there's no way that 1.9 has that much life left in it. It has been around for a while now. and the1.6 won't put out the grunt needed for a cupra diesel.

I reckon the FR will get the 2.0 140 and the cupra will get the 2.0 170 so the 170 will be rock hard bone shattering suspension again and I can't go for that :(

D'osnt the new A4 have a 143 bhp 2.0 cr tdi. I can see something like that being in the FR

1.9 tdi is ancient history and anything under 200bhp for the diesel cupra will be a joke.

+40bhp is a lot of a gain for something that will weigh in the same.

I think that it'd be bloody scarey with a 200bhp diesel on typical stock suspension.
