Well after about 3 weekends working on the roll cage it's all sprayed and fitted. Some of you have seen the progress pics on my diary so far but I will be updating that soon as I have time!

I don't check the thread for a night and all this goes on lol. Thanks for the comments fella's..... fair do's its taken a few weekends to do, my gf isn't happy about it and Mat's gf isn't happy with me because Mat have been working on my car hehe.

it's an ex Rockingham Cage from the Mk3 ibiza Cupra R's and the strut brace I think it is a 6N polo one.... brought it off Mat at a good price, it fitted and thats all i cared lol.

Look forward to seeing it in the flesh :)

Can you see out the windows fine?

Not happy for people to see her in the flesh yet, I wanna get a full respray done 1st

It's alright to see out of the drivers side but because I'm a short arse and sit close I have problems seeing out of the passenger side mirror.

What gear knob is that? Looks a million times better than standard!

I initially thought I saw your car for sale on ebay but it's just a fairly similar one with cage etc

Ebay Item number: 220218522242
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1998-SEAT-IBI...218522242QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220218522242

Richbrook Touring knob it is.... i broke the standard one
And my ibiza is cleaner than that hehe.

Look in the readers rides section and all the progress pics are in there. It's just the little things that take time, we had a few problems but once it's all finished and look back on it all it was nothing to serious really.

Those buckets will finish the car off nicely. Great work there Dave. Out of interest how close does the cage come to the steering wheel?

It looks close but I haven't hit it once yet.

Looks better than when i had my rockinham in the 8valve, but i had a sdandard wheel. If you havent done it already, put some padding on the cage around where your heads close too.

By the way my box should be back from the builder on the weekend, cant wait to try it out...went for the 4.25 in the end
