I assume this takes the current speed data out of the CAN-bus feed to allow the TV/DVD to operate. The down side of this will be the sat nav will lose its real time speed information.

Yes, and just under the centre vents - seems to pick up a signal there fine

Picked it up beginning of Oct07 - looking at a couple of bits of paper I found in the car it looked like it was built mid Sept

Around 9 days!

Was a long wait, although Tommy said they usually come a bit quicker than that - was starting to get a little worried!!

why cant you search with full postcode i dont understand that?
what other ways can you search for the sat nav?

country, city, town, street name and number, location on map.

You can use POST CODES, just not the full 7 digit ones, ie. enter in E12 and it will give you all the streets in the ILFORD E12 area

just wanted to double check
i thinking im gettin a 1.4tsi reference sport with bluetooth option and that comes with steering wheels controls so if i got the MFD3 install after market would the steering controls work with it?
