dont if anyone can help me ive got a ibiza cupra ive got a hole in me standard back box but i dont no how much they r to replace but i was thinking on getting a stainless system but wich ones r the best to for the right money.

well piper on here are a sponsor and would recommend them from what ive heard otherwise get the hole welded up

How much did you pay for yours mate? Im thinking about changing mine to a quieter oval box now

Well i have a mate that does it so i can get it at normally a good price. 150-250 to build the full system from cat back. U choose the design, pipe size, and also how loud u want it. I had a twin which was quiet so i went to him and went for complete new and chose 6" oval. Sounds really deep and u can hear the power with out it being too loud and in ur face. Will put picture up in a bit

Ah fair shout yeh thats a good price for a full system. The novalty of a loud one has worn off on me now lol so im going for the quiet powerfull sound now. Ive already got the 3" downpipe,sports cat and 2.5" pipework so should still sound grunty as ive got no centre box.

Yeh a pic would be great mate as im still undecided weather to go for the oval or not as i quite like mine(5"slash) but theoval will probably look smoother

Oh yeh back to the subject lol

Miltek and Blueflame are the most popular choice but if you want to be different go down the custom route, i went with Infinity but dont know if they are around the country so somewhere like Powerflow or Longlife would be a good bet

from the back and from the side. it is a slash cut as well so goes with the curve of the bumper. not too loud but you can hear the power. this was £150 full back box made while i waited. about 1hr-1.5hr

i am well pleased with it. better than the twin i had

Yeh thats nice mate they go better with the lines of the bumper. I think i may take the plunge soon lol which will mean my scorpion backbox will be up for grabs lol

I've been looking into custom backboxes not for power obviously cuz its a 1.4 but can customs be loud or are they purely for looks? and how much would everyone expect to pay for a backbox only

my standard exhaust sounds like it needs replacing-sounds kinda sporty though lol. Rang insurance and asked if they'd increase premium for aftermarket exhaust, and they said wouldnt even cover me due to being 18 (direct line) NOOOOOO
