hello im one of the dreaded newbies who ask silly questions, ive used the search function but to no avail just wanted to know if the cd changer im lookin at will just plug straight in, part number is CX-CV1820LV, any help would be much apprecated(spl??)

Do you have the wiring in the boot ready for the changer? (should be under the carpet in by the passenger side wheel arch in the boot) That does sound like the right part number, will go check mine in a second. Welcome by the way.

EDIT/ Ok, can't see the part number on mine. If you have the wiring already and the plug looks the same i would guess it should work.

yep found the plug and saw the changer on the bay, it looked right but thought i should check before spendin hard earned cash

Well if you have the plug in the car, and the plug on the changer looks the same i'd go for it. Should work surely.
