cooling

guys

i had a new water pump (with cam belt and tensioners) fitted on monday.

i know this is common so to those who've had it done, does the new kit result in excessive cooling?

normally my engine will warm up after 5-10 mins of sub 3k rpm driving, and then stay at 90 degrees no matter what sort of driving i'm doing.

since the change it's struggled to get up to 90 and has even cooled down if i've been sat at some lights or been caught in traffic so i'm just iddleing along at 2k rpm.

is this normal? anyone else had the same?
