Is anyone on here planning on getting this? If I get a map this will be the one I go for becuase of the switchability and the well known name.

I'm looking forward to seeing what people think of it, and probably more importantly if DPF causes issues. :)

Anyone know if it's possible to buy Revo and have it posted out to be installed by myself via switching unit? I'm sure I read this somewhere before but can't remember the details. I live on an island and it would save me a lot of expense if I didn't have to travel!!

its just a file effectively, it can be put on a dongle then installed by yourself with the right software... but you would need to get on a dyno to see the real power :)

But unless you are an authorised Revo dealer then you can't get a Revo programer so as an end user/customer you have to visit (or have them visit you) an authorised Revo dealer!

Lewis_FR - 191 was what we saw on the dyno, if we quoted our performance figure without quoting the stock one then everyone would expect a 44bhp increase! Our Passat and Altea have seen from 174bhp to 203bhp stock. The figures (as above) were from the same car/dyno/day so show a comparative increase!
Peak figures are pub BS though, in reality the midrange is where you benefit from the increase and the smoothness/midrange and drivibility aren't shown by peak figures!

Hope that makes sense ;)

True..

I'll definately be looking into a remap, but i'll be waiting a while to see if anyone has issues with the Revo Map in relation to the DPF. So can people please keep this thread updated if they go for this remap! [B)]
