hey guys and gals, i been on this site for a while but recently had to sell my mk4 20vt ibiza due to gettin a house with my mrs, however, im desperately trying to be able to afford a mk3 cupra! always wanted one they r the nuts, i was just wondering how many miles you lot are gettin out of a tank of fuel, i was gettin about 180 miles out of my re-mapped mk4 20vt. standard and remapped mpg is cool, cheers :D

i dont really drive hard any more! used to in my mk4 cos it was the first time i had a remapped 20vt! now i got the house and so many bills im a bit more sensible, just really want a mk3 due to the exclusivity factor (i have seen 1 in the area where i live in like the last 9 months)!

I reset my trip last time i filled up and i got 220 miles to a tank, and a fair bit of that was 4th gear loging driving. So up to the redline. Thats with a k03s and all the mods to go with stg2. Running 230bhp..

All town driving aswell.

I get about 30 - 32 mpg with my remapped cupra...full tank would be about 200 - 250 miles normally. I have got 40mpg average on a 80mile motorway trip before and that was sticking to 70 - 75

best iv had going by the computer on a longish trip of mixed motorway, A roads and through the country going home from southampton to glastonbury is 42mpg, as very impressed, that was with no traffic and driving conservatively to see what it would do!
thats nearly on a par with my old 1.3 polo gt!
generally kicking about town and doing short trips im looking at high 20s probably if im lucky, sometimes worse!
