any idea why he said dont go over 3k? it will be ran for a month until i can afford to stage 2 it with a sports cat

i know a lad who ran a ko3s on standard map for month wilth no problems,so it will be fine to put them on. stage 2 is to get the best out of the turbo

Dont worry about it. Just drive it. Its not a GT30, the difference is tiny so you'll ecu will sort out the rest.

Makes no difference. It will run fine on the standard map!

No probs running it on standard or stage 1, as i ran mine on a standard map for about 3-4 months before getting a custom map.

Ran fine.

On a standard map i went waaay past 3k without problems, some say its about 5k ish where the ko3 runs out of puff that with a ko3s on a standard map could run lean, so just don't push it to hard i'd say.

With stage 1, i would have thought it would be abit better.

from searching around, technically it will run fine on a stg1, but to get the most from it, a stg2 setup would be better, taking into account the mods you have

as most of the mods you have already point to a stg2 setup...as in a way its a bit pointless sticking with a stg1 map with all the mods you have as it is not bringing out their full potential and in essense the potential of the car and power as a whole

to be honest i just drove home from Birmingham tam worth and I didn't take it much over 4k so if thats the case I should be fine..


well there's only one way to find out if it will work...

the worst that happens is it goes into limp mode and i have a useless car

Mine was much better on stage 1 revo. No limp mode etc at all. stage 2 was a major dissapointment and a waste of the £ 50 upgrade price.

lol its being done tomorrow at 10am phil..

im not sure if amd is a custom map or a flash map like revo, if its like revo then il have no problems
