Hi All

I am the proud new owner of a 55 Cupra R in black. I am falling in love;-)

Anyway. I know (I think I do) the Cupra has the TT engine, A3 dash .... I keep on seeing different parts from different VW Group cars making up the car. Does someone have a list they could throw together? Purely out of interest and so I can mock TT and A3 owners for being ripped off:p:lol:

i was told on a tt forum that seat get the naff tolerenced engines that dont make the audi standard....:cartman:

think i may have upset him a) because he realised how much bhp i had , but most importantly b) i mentioned his car was superior as you cant get a full bottle of hairspray in the leons glove box

there a good bunch.:)

think there both BAM engined:shrug:... but every thing ive taken off the car has an audi/vw stamp on it and mines not an even an R.

personally im jealous of the tt`s traction.... but wouldnt the losses caused by it:D

All the bits in my spare wheel bay have Audi/VW badges stamped on them....

.....plus the rear red brake calipers...oil cap and dipstick is the same as my old polo's.....

.....about the only things that don't are the 'Seat' badges and the ashtray!

The front calipers are only on the LCR and were built and designed by Brembo solely for the LCR then sold as the Gran Turismo package
Front end of the LCR is S3 and rear is MK 4 Golf. Most parts inside are shared throughtout the VAG range. Seat and steering wheel are solely LCR. Mirrors are same on S3.
Turbo same as S3, TT 225, KO4

Go raiding Toledos at the scrapyard. We've got lights on the visors (well roof), lights in the doors, lights in the glovebox....

Actually, I've got a glovebox light somewhere if you want it ??

SE and V5 certainly have all of the above .... not sure about the S - it didn't even get electric rear windows :(

My Leon jus came with TDI badges on it but I know it's only 90bhp so I just assumed it was an 'S' but I have full electric windows, lights in my visor mirrors when they are slid acrossed, light in glove box and light in doors (although the drivers door light seems to light up when it feels like it ;) lol)

Maybe I'm just one of the lucky one's :p:whistle:
