If you search theres a few topics on this would be good reading for you. But in short I changed my bulbs to the phillips 80%+ (I think thats what they were) they are a great job. Changed the side lights to whiter as well

Just received my H7 HID kit from hong kong, along with some blue vision H1 / 505's for main beam / side. Got some relays so I can bypass the "light blown" warning - damn ECU. I'll document fitting them if anyone would find it handy.

Do you wire the coil of the relay into the bulb circuit then have to run another constant +12v the switch side of the relay?

I imagine you could do it the same way, or add a resistor to the circuit to bring the load up.

I have just changed my Blue Vision to X-Treme 80% bulbs. I had the Blue Vision ones in for a bout a year and although they seemed okay the light from the X-Tremes' is so much brighter and whiter!!

I did keep my Blue Vision side lights in though

I also changed the indicator bulbs for some Chrome ones, but they arent that bright, so time for some Silver Stars I think, but at least I know how they come out now

LEFT : Philips...................................................RIGHT: Osram

Note how much "fatter" the osrams are, maybe th eextra blue band at the bottom adds to the effect ??
