Went into the back of some pr1ck today when he decided to just stop dead infront of me!! [:@]

No damage to the bumper was done as far as i can see, just the left hand grill peice has come off.

Does anyone know where i can get a replacement?

Thanks

its not really fair to blame the person in front for stopping even if they stopped for no reason.

thats the whole point of stopping distances, if you leave enough space between you and the car in front you wont run into the back of them.

just my opinion of course.

Oh yer i agree totally, i should have been concentrating more!

Just glad it wasnt high impact and the only scrape was this grill bit.

You live and learn, just want to get it sorted now :)

did the other guys car seem damaged at all?

someone ran in to the back of my gf a month or two ago and although there was very little damage to the car outwardly the boot floor was crunched upwards and the garage estimate for repair was 1600 quid.

Na not a scratch, i was only going about 10mph if that, we was coming up to the traffic lights.

if i had gone back the part would have probably been there, but it was at a main junction.

I agree but I have had this type of accident myself 3 years ago, there was a big accident up ahead ( I later discovered as my car went on the same lorry as the written off cars!) and the traffic went from 60 to 0 in a matter of feet, I was an inexperienced driver and didn't react and brake enough to stop in time. I learnt my lesson as will the member above. I didn't say anything as he prob feels anoyed enough right now and asked us a question.

Cor your a hardcore bunch sometimes! lol

No excuses i wasnt concentrating enough, but you dont really expect someone to stop dead about 15ft before the traffic lights.

maybe try a breakers as that seems more expensive then the dealers taking into consideration the postage!

Might be different at most breakers but closest one to me said they don't take parts like that off newer cars..they'd only sell whole bumper etc to make it worth their while.
