Well hi, im new to the site, and I own a seat ibiza, 2.0. 8v. I dont really know alot about tuning and all that, but in quite interested. It has an induction kit, and I believe a cat back exhaust.

Its a nippy little thing, and being of the older generation im a bit of a boy with his toy. I would idealy like it to be a track day car, because a couple of my friends have track cars.

Im also very competative, so I would also like to beat them. So basically I would like to know, what can I get done to this little beast, to make it go like a rocket to be perfectly blunt. I also like to make it go quick of lights and stuff, cause I get some very odd looks by posh business men, in there mondeo's and stuff. And im in this little kiwi green youngsters car.

Thanks in advance.

Please put it simply, im not a genious. Thanks again.

strip the interior out first!! saves a lot of weight and shaves nearly a second of the 0-60 time, also halves ya braking distance!! best of all that's free!:funk:

mods seem to be hit and miss though really. mine for example, when it got dyno'd had a s/s cat back exhaust, high flow cat, induction kit and a modded throttle body. it made 126.6bhp (standard is supposed to be 115) with 148 lb/ft of torque (standard is 122lb/ft). and yet a standard one on here made 132 bhp with 140lb/ft!! so concentrate on brakes/handling/weight first![B)]
