gains beyond a stage 1 map are relatively small when you consider what you have to spend to get them. i believe revo suggest fmic, 4 bar fpr and induction for stage 2. I guess your best bet is to ask will at p-torque what he would recommend for a stage 2 map as the mods will (to some extent) depend on the mapper.

so really im running 215bhp at the moment and a stage 2 map with mods aint really going to increase this any further.

whilst im on, whats the deal with the slight judderieness on acceleration.

is it the cold, had a coilpack replaced recently or the fact that i need to be runningon 99ron, not at the minute due to stupid fuel costs.

With a full turbo back zorst with high flow CAT, FMIC & CAI your probably looking at a maximum of 10-15BHP, but its more about the spred of power that is more noticable, you may be gaining 30bhp topend but peak figures are relatively small.

you will of course see gains with mods and a stage 2 map but it wont be the kind of increase you got from stage 1.

if its an lc i think the best figures you can hope for on the standard turbo are 230-235ish. someone please correct me if im wrong here.

The juddering is the ECM pulling the ignition timing by due to using 95ron.

time to stop being tight and get on the 99 then eh!!

as for the tightness bit, im not tight, but travelling 76 mile a day to work and paying 1.08 a litre shocks me.

but next tank its going in

will it be noticeable when i switch to 99ron.

i realise the ecu has to adjust but with t map then going to 99 will it be noticeable

got it boys, friggin nugget running 95 ron.

im gonna burn all this cack fuel in a thrashing frenzy to get onto 99 ron.

didnt even think about it until recently.

im gagging for a next mod to help a power hike, whats the best bang for buck.

i just have remap, induction at the moment.

dont wanna change the tailpipe on exhaust.

plus, you could get an aftermarket exhaust with a tailpipe that looks almost identical to standard. custom exhaust places usually have a huge range for you to choose from.

I'd go for some suspension work if I was you - help you make better use of the power you have

Agree with that.

ARB's and d/b mount if not already done so. Well worth it. I don't know about the suspension as I haven't changed mine yet. I feel stock is fine - not yet tried one with uprated suspension so wouldn't know.

I would have gone for these mods before the power.
