can also screw it in at the top MDS, get a wee cover that hides the screw head
although this cover is actually a different shade to the bloody pillar itself

im going to play aroung and see if i can divise something else

I'm sure someone has cut one of the original mounts from the OE pillar, and glueed it into place on the Nomad one...and then just used the OE clips that are in the metal work of the A pillar.

Mines currently attached via the "screw method" as thats how it arrived from Nomad (no Velcro), but if I can cut one of the original mounts out carefully enough, then I'll go down that route, and fill the screw hole in.

PS - Here's mine in situ...only just got round to taking the pic's...

Heres mine....

All ok .. but at the top it is still a disaster with that velcro... I dont like things unless theyre perfect... This bugs just thinking of it.

If i where any good with fibreglass, id make a smaller triangular unit at the corner of the dash and windscreen...

I am thinking of fitting a 2 in 1 digital gauge in the cup holder soon.

Their make is IGR.

Quite popular here amongst the Leons.

Go black when turned off.

Almost impossible to read during the day though.... going to sell them and opt for digital ones.

mine look mint! no pics yet, but a top job by Awesome

looks to be fitted with just the screw, but it's solid enough (the original pillar still has its clips)

i think the IGR ones are similar to my Defi BF ones - black when off. red when on.

yeah any pics of the boost gague? anda fitting guide maybe?

Of the pic's above in my pic's the Boost Gauge is the top of the 2, and MDS has his at the bottom.
Mine is in PSI, and MDS's is in BAR, so you can see both there.

As for the guides...have a look thru some of the threads in this search I've done (for you) CLICKY

I'm sure Moffmeister has done a guide for both Oil Temp & Boost Gauges, you'll have to have a nose thru what I linked to above to find them...but there's more than enough adivce in amoungst all that is in that search.

Any problems...drop me a line & i'll answer what I can.

MDS - Have you still got your original pillar.

I was thinking about (very carefully) cutting one of the mounts from the inside of the OE pillar, and gluing it into the Nomad pillar at the top to make it more stable. As it will connet to the OE clip that is in the A-Pillar.

I've got one of the newer Noman pillars with screw attachment at the top, which is a little un-sightly IMO, altho it does hold it tighter than the velcro option they used before.

Know what you mean about the stealth gauges in daylight, but having seen the thread on here about the ProSport gauges, i'm very tempted by them...have to wait for Xmas now tho :(
