good mod, worth the money but expect to loose knuckle skin and best fit with a mate as its a sod by yourself. I noticed a bit more torque and topend and a lovely turbo whistle :)

I have done a search. But, worth the buy? Noticeable difference in torque?

On my leon cupra I saw a 10bhp and 8lb ft increase after fitting the forge tip.
The car was standard other than an itg panel filter and smooth airbox.

180.2bhp and 203lb ft with panel filter and smooth box :D
190.4bhp and 211lb ft with the tip, panel filter and smooth airbox.

Both runs done on the same RR and graphs are very similar.

Neil.

I fitted my Forge TIP after I had a Custom-Code stage 2 remap. There was a noticeable power increase and the top-end surging that I had been experiencing was also gone. If you have a map that demands good airflow to maintain 18+ PSI, I'd say the Forge TIP is essential.

Agreed about fitting though. If you haven't got access to an inspection pit or a ramp then pay someone to fit it for you!

does it make a big improvment on the sound of the turbo as mine doesnt make hardly any sound of the turbo whistling all i can here is the induction noise of hte filter and i want to be able to hear the turbo spooling up.
