As I live 9 or so miles from Milltek, I'd like to see it too, then you could compare it to the Supersprint... Still not impressed with Millteks service, still no contact from them regarding a 3" dp/sports cat..... Be warned tho' finding their factory via sat nav isn't easy, if you get lost, I'll pm you my phone number and I'll guide you in :)

Sounds like Miltek, lost in their own importance sometimes i feel. However they do make good products when they finally set their minds to it.

Sarah, when they start flogging these get a full system in stock for me. please ;)

It would be interesting to compare the exhausts for sure. FYI, if anyone fancies a free 3" turbo back system and can get themselves to Sweden, Jetex are looking for a donor MK2 Leon Cupra for 2 days. I can forward on contact details to anyone interested.

Edit: Jetex would put you up for one night as well. May be ideal for those beside Newcastle or Harwich, but there is a fair drive between Stavanger (Norway) and Esbjerg (Denmark) and the factory, north of Gothenburgh (Sweden) to the tune of 300+miles each way. Still cheaper than paying full whack though if you think that 2 tanks of fuel = £100ish and ferry is £400.

Yeah - The downpipe may need a custom conenctor on your car. Probably better for someone looking for a whole system :)

They doing a standard looking oval, or trying to replicate the look of the Cupra's pipe?

Please don't have a wide mouth frog look like the Cupra R zorst had. It was a great exhaust but the tail pipe was inspired by a Max Powa idiot. :p

Well I was gonna get them to make it look exactly like the OEM one. Any of you guys got any preferences?

Just printed off my route :)

I am going to get a non-resonated middle pipe on mine as I have been in a mapped MK5 GTi will a Milltek Turbo back and non-res centre section, and it has a crisp note and is not boomy.

Edit: If anyone wants my 2.75" downpipe, I can take it down with me to save on postage :)

The real irony is that I approached Milltek about a full duplex system back in june at the inters, and they said that they'd be delighted to use my car as a tester, then never bothered to get back to me, despite several phone calls... They just didn't seem to want to know, so I went for the Supersprint, the Dp could fit ok as there's an adaptor to take the oem diameter up to 76mm, (the dia of the s/sprint pipe), so just remove it, should fit... Now to find the cash for it...
