cluster upgrade

Ive decided to upgarde the clusters to white dials,

Quick question. If the clusters is disconnet from the car, then re connected an hour later. will it loose the memory for immboliser?

Any one else upgraded theres? Any comments

belive someone has done this have a search but yes as they fitted them and car wont start

No it shouldn't, I've had my cluster out a few times with no restart problems once refitted (apart from a plug not quite in right).

Phew!! Waas abit worried, dont want to go to dealers, to get the immboliser reprogrammed with my keys.

Just finaly got the time to refit the new dials into the cluster.
Simple job but it tooks 1hour for a 20min work.

Made improvemnt.

Easy DIY for all if you thinkiing about it.

Yeh simple , just replace orginal with new one, precut and slot in. Youhave to be carefull with the needles and remmber hwo you took them out and align them correctly.
got the off flea bay, had few quid to burn, so went for it.

not sure if i like it, or prefer the warning lights black as they are standard

Aye, maybe would have too! Looks very white with the big white warning panel!

Nah they balnked, out, mines white, but when lights come they change colour, something different,

But noticed something last night, it looks quite good at night but some people may have different opnions to it. Wil match most gauge set up
Normall on the face lift models just the numbers light and icons, but mines the whole clock lights up red.
Down side is the here slighly fuzzy in bottom area due to lack of light by digital display

Mine are already white, so thought they were standard? 2003 LC.

Sure they are on facelift and LCR. But not the Pre-Facelift ones!
Think they look good! MEGA RED!!!

Thats true, but its a head ace, cuz you have to get it reprogremmed by dealers.
Just prefer the dials, will the preface dial card fit straight into mines?
