black cupra r sideskirts.....

i am in the process of buying a black cupra r and i had a look at one and noticed the sideskirts were a dull black colour like they had been sprayed but not enough lacquer had been applied....is this normal or should i be worried?

You could get them to match your car color

no not really.....but its not a major problem. it just looks like they have a dull finish to them. They are the same colour as the car but just dull. Abit like me i suppose-lol

I looked at an 'R' before I got my Cupra and (for some reason) willing to forget about the shoddy paintwork that it had. Luckily my Girlfriend talked some sense into me and I let it go...

If it's bothering you BEFORE you own it, think about everytime you clean it!! Unless of course you get them resprayed. Don't be blinded by the 'R' though

Mine are slightly dull also, I thought they were supposed to be like it? Maybe just the black ones?

Could just be a trait of the black SEAT paint... I know it's common for the ovni to fade.

It's certainly not 'supposed to be like that'

it's probably me just being a perfectionist-lol. they are balck just looks like they haven't had aas much laquer as the body work.....its not going to affect the car on anyway so i should just shut up and enjoy....
