Hopefully this is the same for your radio too Simon

Has the PDF been moved? The link appears to be broken.

How did you update the firmwire on the Dension? Do you get track names on the head unit with the new firmware?

You upload the firmware to itunes --> iPod, play the playlist in the car, and it will update the firmware on the unit.

Nice one XE,

Sorry we let the webspace die a death but I do have all the files etc which i'll try to get online in an organised fashion somewhere. Maybe they could be converted into help files on SCN?

Could you post a link to where I can download new Dension firmware please? I've had a look on the website, but couldn't find it anywhere! Thanks

I will post some links later tonight (if I remember). Its hidden away in the dension website, but I think I used firmware from some German website. But if you have the latest model should be no need to update firmware.

Mine was put in by the dealer a year ago! Current firmware is 2.15 (I think), not sure how much difference there will be with the new one.

I managed to get my HU out today, using the dvd box (xbox) method and some string handles. Works great. I too have black, brown & blue connectors plugged in. I didn't manage however to remove the whole quadlock connector. Couldn't see a clip. I still need to buy the correct cable for my Dension.

My current Dension cable is the more traditional bigger red socket though. I'll post pics tomorrow. Do I need a cable from this to the plug where my blue one is? Or could I go straight from the black Dension box to this blue socket?!?!

Have we confirmed the blue one is the AUX in? Anyway to keep both?

I've never used the Dension OS on mine but used the iPod interface. Is there any point in me upgrading my firmware?

Managed to find the link here:

Yup yup yup. Either need an adapter or a new bit from the Dension box to the blue socket. Maybe.

No just the pics I have. I'd have thought I could get a new bit from Dension or an adapter...
