Juddery/Skipping wipers

My driver's side wiper has started juddering and skipping over the screen after 2 months at all speeds. Has anyone else suffered from this? If so, what was the best solution?
Thanks

have you tried cleaning your wipers with a wet cloth...if you havent used your wipers for 2 months , probably dirt and dust are forcing the wipers not to clean...

I have wiped the blades, cleaned the screen with 2 different glass cleaners and they still judder. They're fine for the first 5 minutes after cleaning then start juddering again, but only on the driver's side.

I can tell that you live in Turkey and not the UK. We havn't had more than two dry days in a row.

Try wiping the wipers with vineger as there might be some grease on the blades.

I'll give that a go...If it does not work it's of to the stealers to fix it.

You could have a duff wiper motor - there are two on the Leon [ if you have done what all the previous chaps have said try - last resort is the wiper blade is US - had a simlar problem on a Punto replaced blades but the problem came back after a week!?

Ive had this problem on my arosa.

I have tried literally everything.

Vinegar, newspaper, glass cleaners of various types, fairy liquid, new wiper blades etc.

I finally had enough of it as it was getting so bad they would damage the motor befor elong as they seemed to be sticking to the screen, only the screen felt really smooth.

SO i thought, maybe its too clean, so in a last ditch attempt i sprayed on a bit of turtlewas wet look tyre dressing (to add grease to the screen!), cleaned that off with autoglym glass polish and then cleaned the wipers with autogylm rubber care and they seem fine now.

Although its not rained that much since, so time will tell.
