I need to sell due to expanding family but I've been waiting until I sorted the performance problems out first. Damn shame as now the car flies and I haven't had time to enjoy it

Anyway, the car is April 2002 '02' reg.
48k miles
8 months MOT. 10 months tax.
Full service history and all receipts.
Remapped.
RGM headlight eyebrows
17" BK alloys in pearlescent white.
Laguna FMIC with SFS hoses
Forge intake pipe
Forge actuator
Forge 'style' diverter valve with different strength springs.
Momo strut brace
Custom stainless steel induction kit with custom grill air feed
De-badged, de-oranged rear lights with silvertec bulbs (Ring Enigma indicator bulbs in front).
Nomad A-pillar with Autogauge boost gauge.
Autogauge oil temp and pressure gauges in centre console.
Single DIN DVD player located under steering wheel with 7" screen on dash.
Wired ready for amp in boot.
Custom faux-leather parcel shelf with JBL 6x9's
Custom faux-leather false boot floor with OEM CD changer.
Longlife stainless cat-back exhaust.
Drilled and grooved front discs with braided brake lines. Grooved rear discs.
FK Silverline coilovers (stainless body)
N249 bypass and silicone vacuum hose.

There are the expected stone chips and a ding on the offside front wing. If I was keeping it I would get this done and the bonnet sprayed at the same time, approx £250. Oh, and the end clips on the front bump strip are a little weak, approx £25

Turns heads wherever it goes - reg plate not included. Any ideas?

Bit off topic but the missing power thread hasn't been updated, just curious about what was causing your power problems in the end. Was it the standard actuator that was knackered, hence the forge one now been fitted.

£6250 is not ambitious mate, I think thats a fair'ish price. You will only sell it to someone who understands the work thats bit done on it, as a lot of people are scared of tuned cars. I personally wouldnt buy it, because I prefer to tune cars up myself as tunes cars tend to be given a hard life.

I think you'll easily get £6k for it. Lovely little motor.

That does seem a little steep...a mate is selling his Ibiza Cupra R in top condition with many worthwhile mods...and thats only £6800.

Look on PistonHeads...that gives a reasonable idea of prices people are willing to pay.

Nonetheless, hope you get your asking price!!

What do you call worthwhile mods??
The book price for private sale on a Cupra R is only £500 more than a Cupra so I don't know where that idea comes from

The map is p-torque - Will has been very helpful. The car has been checked by so many garages now so I know is in very good condition.
Unsure what power it is now but I'd expect to see around 210bhp and 220lb/ft so healthy on a k03. All I can do is put it up and see what happens. It would hurt to see it go for less than 6k, I may as well keep it and get a £500 estate runaround.

It certainly is tidy I think more £5700 would be reasonable.

You can always try 6k but I would say for that you would need to be prepared for the right buyer to come along

Its got low mileage, and the blue is pretty popular. i was rediculously lucky and got a car that the seller didnt know was worth. I paid £4500 for a mint Y-Reg with 60k on the clock. She had owned it from brand new, but if you sell it on here or piston heads I think you'll get close to the £6k mark.

But is a year newer, 12k less miles and £2500 of modifications and nice blue pearlescent paint worth another £1500? I guess that's down to the individual.

Very true. I know I did. That's why I bought mine totally standard 3 years ago in June for £8500. Modifying it was a real nightmare. Had problems with so many aftermarket parts. An ill fitting Supersprint exhaust system, suspension knocking and creaking which turned out to be the H&R cup kit which was replaced once and then ditched for the FK coilovers. So much time and labour getting the car to where it is now, excluding parts cost.
I'd definitely buy already modified this time.
I just don't think £900 ontop of Parker's private good price is much to ask for a very good example with these modifications. I think I know where I'm going with it now. Many thanks.

i think 6k is very reasonable for the condition/mods/age/miles etc etc
id probably try and get a bit more tbh, but thats just me, you wont get your money back for the mods but if your in no rush and the right buyer comes along i think youd get more than 6k for it personally

to me, its worth nothing, i have one

Mods aint worth **** all on resale, take em off and sell em seperatley.

Thats what I would do Stan, make it look as standard as possible and make the extra on selling the parts on here.
