Power feels strange

Morning all.

Ever get that feeling your car is getting slower?

Last few weeks it feels down on power, all I have done is plug EGR valve, and fitted green panel filter.

Perhaps I will reset ECU, may unplug EGR also see if it changes. Problem seems to have developed after fitting panel filter, cant replace the old one as its been binned.

Anything else it can be? MAF?

In think this about mine all the time. I have replaced the following
Air filter
N75 boost control valve
Maf
Oil and filter
Still cant sort it. Going to get rolling road session to see what the crack is because I am getting fed up with it now.

Would the warmer weather have an adverse inpact on performance? I guess so, cooler the better, felt OK this morning, perhaps a RR for me also.

I think this also!!

but I put it down to the car just feeling better!

good fuel mix air intake and stuff. As I cant see the insides it could be anything it could be a peice of crap in the injectors then it finally moves and you get that kick back!

But unless you strip the car apart when it works I guess we will never know when :S

If you have restored default values by disconnecting the battery, this suggests that whatever caused the initial adaptations will likely reoccur.

If the panel filter is an 'oiled' type, clean the MAF, also check engine/fuel temp sensor readings are in range.

I would stick to the OEM paper filter, they are good upto 200+bhp, and flow more air than many aftermarket filters.

EGR Exhaust Gas Recirculatory Valve.
MAF Mass Air Flow?
OEM Original Manufactures something?

Basically, your MAF always breaks, your EGR needs tyo be plugged up with something to prolong engine life, and OEM you already have one
