Mine were replaced by the dealer about 6 months after I bought the car as they'd corroded. The replacements corroded after only a few months so I got another set, haven't fitted them yet though. Really ought to though, they're almost completely white now!

I think they were something like £4.79 + VAT or there abouts, not that expensive. Certainly wouldn't pay a tenner or whatever rediculous prices they charge on fleabay!

Already replaced the back one once. Is there anything you could coat them in to make them last longer? Spray on laquer?

TBH seat should sort the problem and make some that last, are the fR badges the same?

Got some replacement copies off ebay for about £5 each. Coated them in clear laquer, about 3/4 coats :). Should last longer.

Yeah, the FR badges fade really quickly aswell. I got them replaced once then debadged them form the car.

I debadged my old Ibiza 'cos I didn't want people to know I drive a derv.

When all's said and done I WANT people to know I drive a Cupra R but then I'm just a badge junkie.

I need new ones too - hoping the lacquer does the trick!

I had my FR badge discolour. The Black F was fine but the red turned a girly pink. Dealer replacement them for me.

I like the R badge especialy since seat made Derv's with the R bumpers, I have been tempted to loose the 'cupra' badge but may have problems with the red raded around where the badges have been, noticed it when I change the boot R.

Pity there isn't more Seat Sport decals, say a plaque on the centre consol etc.

I had mine replaced under warranty but kept the old ones. Got peed off wiht the fact that you have to take the originals off, so now looking at making a decal that can be applied over the top of the original one. Means also can change the colour of the "R" to say balc for the Black car I have. Will let you guys knwo how it goes :)

The ones that were replaced are holding well. I polish and wax them now in hope they don't discolour :)
