Just bought an FR and the previous owner has scratched it with his wedding ring. Any idea where to get one? Seat dealers have been less than helpful.

Where to source an FR gear knob?

I would of thought the dealers is the best place for one or you could change it for one of the SEAT sport ones available through them also.
You would have thought so wouldn't you? I rang 3 dealers who all struggled to grasp the fact it is a specific FR gear knob. They all ended up giving rough estimates of cost because they couldn't be arsed. One said about £20, the other said £130+VAT
They are clueless I replaced the one in my ref sport and asked for the 6 speed ref sport gear knob, bloke came out with three different prices I said so how much for the ref sport 6 speed then, he replied oh is it the oem one you want YES YOU MUPPET.

See your point but really like the oem FR one. WIll jsut keep hunting. Was on my way to buy some mats today from 'Rustys' of Scunthorpe while going to the football. Gave them a ring and since it was past 12 the parts dept was shut. The fellas in the garage had no way of selling me a pair of bloody mats. FFS!!!

I have changed the FR knob on my car as i dont like it, could part with it, i will have a think about it
Cheers mate. Let me know. Is it in good nick? I could swap it with mine and some cash if you fancied? At least you'd then still have one if you wanted to put it back on. It's not too scratched. Could get pics if you want?
