iirc, they get quite good reviews!

mainly down to the value for money aspect as £300 for coilovers is a really good price!

remember seeing a post or 2 saying that the ride was a little bouncy but still better than the standard setup!

thry doing a search, think there are a few threads on them!

Ive ordered a set of these aswell. Cant argue with the price.

Hope they will be fitted by the end of the month.

I just think the price is to good to be true they will prob be fine for the first year but its after that you have to worry, how long will £300 coilovers last??

My bro had them on his mk4 golf, he removed then 2 months later, the front shocks have started rattling and the aluminium fork which hold the shock up is so soft it bent causing the bottom of the shock move down about 2 inchs and pierce the cv boot. ill post pics of the 2 month old coilovers later

You get what you pay for.

Couldnt put it better! Buy cheap and it probably wont last as long as the more expensive stuff, Ive heard the KW's are supposed to be really good quality, and give an excellent ride, but they aint cheap! :(

i have the v-maxx kit and love them! no bad points so far...apart from the fact that the front is a tad bouncy cos it has helper springs

helper springs wont make the front bouncy, they compress fully when the car is sitting on its wheels, they are there to stop the short springs from dislocating when the car is jacked up as this is an MOT failure.

On the plus side, a mate of mine has the "JTEC" branded coilovers on his (call them what you want, they are all the same) on his mk4 golf 20VT and the ride is actually very good, has had to run 15mm spacers at the front though on his replica ET35 8x18inch wheels to clear the shock body, not impressed with that but overall not bad, you do get what you pay for though!

hey m8...yer not been on any forums for a while really...been spending sooo much time with my lil nitro monster!

my car is much better now since the new turbo has been fitted...although im still getting a rumbling sound, and from the looks of it, it's the strut brace knocking on both the air filter and engine cover....o well lol
