Not that it is an of my business but how can you afford a new car at 19?
Dont mind mate, get asked alot. As i currently live at home, have no loan, direct debits, phone contract, nothing. I have been able to save a fair bit of money in the past year. I've always been quite good at saving my money and its paid off. I was able to put a large deposit down and spread the remaining costs over finance as i'm going to be keeping the car for quite a while as its brand new. That and i got accepted for a new job last week!

Ta for the hint on photobucket might try it out in a mo.
Very good price mate I daren't add up 'exactly' how much mine has cost. Would have liked the xeons but pushed the budget a git far so i got a set of xeon bulbs off ebay lol
Wish I could have afforded a new car at 19! Good on you mate.

My beloved S3 interior, I am not to big a man to admit I cried when she left

And my Clio fron a few years back, oops, landed on the roof but in my defence it was on a thruck/diesel stop island so may have been slippy, may have been pushing it, who knows

Hope it works :headhurt:

Was very tempted to get the sat nav, but already spent £350 on the TomTom 910 a few months ago and so just went for the TomTom pre-installed connection for £25!

hi Lewis, i thought that you couldnt get the tomtom pre-installation in conjunction with the bluetooth kit? im sure thats what it said in the latest MY08 price brochure anyway? have no idea why though and thought it was the biggest shame for £25:confused:

Lewis, welcome aboard mate. Their a good bunch on here, have fun :D

Thanks Matey :) Loving the look of your car. i was so tempted to go for the same colour but wasn't brave enough to go for white. Still looks stunning though

Not sure about the compatibility mate. But i'm sure if there is a problem they'll let me know  Hope not though, cause it will save me draping wires over my dash for the Sat Nav

hi Lewis,

I was at the dealers at the weekend putting in an order for an FR :D
the dealer told me that i couldnt have the tomtom pre install in conjunction with the BT as it said in the brochure. something to do with there only being one wire to use for wither the BT or the tomtom.

so you might want to check that out with your dealer. oh, and let me know if you hear any different :)

Sup Ghosty. I rang up the dealer i had the previous order with and cancelled as i was offered a better deal elsewhere. That and i also wanted to change the colour to Candy White and add 18" alloys. I discussed with them about the TomTom & BT and your right, only one can be used. Not a real problem for me as i dont travel a huge deal and if i do i'll put it on a full charge before i go =/ my est delivery time is now going to be longer though!
I dont start my new job till the start of sept though so its cool.

You know I'm starting to wish I was joining the Candy club :( Good choice changing the colour Lewis and fair play for seeking a better deal out :funk:
I got the call today, it will arrive Thursday and if the plates are sorted as I'm having my plate put straight on and the DVLA can be dicks and take ages dealer says, then I will pick it up next Tuesday and I'm f:censored:g stoked!!!!
Whats your eta? Bummer about waiting longer but it's better to have what you want mate, the colour is a BIG regret if you get wrong. Bit stupid about the TomTom though you would think they could sort that but like you say it's not the end of the world. I'll get some pics up after i've gone to town on it cleaning and fitting extras at work tues and weds night next week :D

Yeah i'm definately glad i've changed the colour, Candy looks proper sexy. I've asked for it to be delivered the first week in sept so its on a 57 plate :D

Only a week for you to wait then! Lucky sod :p Only annoyance is having to run the engine in i suppose. I haven't even looked up how to run a new engine in properly yet

if its a factory order itll definitely be a 57 plate, although it wont be the first week in september. i ordered mine 11 weeks ago today, and its only just arrived in the country.

4/5 I ordered mine so I've not done to bad, you may just get it on the first week may be on, keep your fingers crossed Lewis!
As for running them in the dealer has told me its factory restricted so the computer wont let you rag it as only 95% power for first 1500 miles someone correct me if I'm wrong although it will be taken steady the first 1000 anyway which shouldn't take long ;) I won't be flooring it like on my test drive car which had 19miles on the clock but still felt quick after the missus KA. You can feel the torque compared to the S3 but hasn't the legs, however the less frequent trips to the garage will be a God send, bring it on :)
