I am only a little 'un (5ft2) and I have my seat just over 3/4 way to the top. Any higher and my feet kinda dangle

Do you have your seat low and how tall are ya?? Have you struggled?

Thought it might interest others to see how they strap into their car and their comparitive height [B)]

I'm 5'11" so have my seat quite low. I do have my back rest pretty straight with lumber to support my back.
I have noticed in my new FR that me knees touch the steering wheel never noticed this before.

I have the steering wheel all the way in and up.

I'm 6' 3'' and have my seat on lowest and my wheel adjusted so it sits level with the top of the plastic on the dials, so i can see them all!

i'm 6ft have the seat right down and the steering wheel right out and with the top of the wheel level with the top of the dials

One of the reasons I have ordered an FR is the great driving position which lets you sit low, lets fairly straight and arms out straight - I can never get the steering wheel far enough away usually because of my short legs :headhurt:

I'm 5'9" and have the seat about level with the door piller and at just under half hight with the seat back pretty straight.Have found with the steering wheel about 3/4 out and set slightly down gives me no problems.Best driving position compaired with the Ford Focus & Vauxhall Astra which I also looked at.

Unfortunately same thing here!

I got the seat in the lowest possible position, the steering wheel is all way up.

Yet in order to achieve my desired driving position, elbows near body when holding the wheel at 10 o'clock, my right knee touches the steering column when i try to go for the brake.

Solution, get back a little bit or brake slighty on the side of the pedal.

I reckon Seat should have predicted this problem with bigger people who wish to have a correct driving position.

That "lump" on the bottom of the steering column doesn't help. It should just be flat and the problem wouldn't arrise.

Normally have the seat 1 crank up from the bottom, with steering wheel all the way out, and sat so the top of the wheel is in-line with the top of the dash cowl.

Used to have seat all the way down, but found it uncomfortable on my calf muscles.

I'm 6'3"

I'm 5'6 . One of the major reasons I bought the Leon was the driving position. So many cars these days have lots of dash under the steering wheel or huge steering columns and I find that a short a**e like me cant get close enough to the pedals without my knees touching the bottom half of the dash or steering column. Strangley, big cars seem to have less under dash space than small ones. With the leon I find I can get the seat far enough foward without my knees touching the lower part of the dash when I brake etc. Mind you I do have to sort of slide my left knee under the steering column when entering or getting out of the car. After testing a Focus, Astra, Alfa 159 and Golf ( Golf had worst driving position of the lot imo) I felt the Leon was easily the most comfortable and had the best range of adjustment. The seats (stylance model) are superb, better than the MG ZT I owned before which was a far more expensive car. The fact that the Leon was the cheapest, best looking and best driving of the cars I drove (imo of course) sealed the deal for me. Had it a week now and apart from a couple of gremlins (hopefully being sorted by the dealer as we speak) I'm well pleased with it.:)

Seat at its lowest (I'm 6ft 2), steering wheel so I can see the dials, lumba support at minimum, does mean I have lean forward in the seat to see out at junctions.
