F'ing ibiza drivers!!

Wasn't very happy tonight! There's a roundabout near mine which is on a 60 road and basically everyone goes straight over it. It seems every time I go across it after about 7pm, I get cut off from someone coming from my left and them going their left (where I'm heading).

So decided to slow down alot, just incase it happened again.. And it did! A car flew straight out infront of me, not even looking. And it was a lovely red mk2 ibiza!

Gave my horn a good beep and saw him mumble something, then he decided to shoot off! (he was in a 2.0 gti, me in a 1.4!)


Anyway, rant over.. Just wondering if anyone else feels they except other mk2 ibiza drivers to be good? The sad truth is most of them are old people who lost their driving ability when their hip went!

Hey, TBH I dont see that many ibiza round by me, as far as i know im the only red gti ibiza bloke round by me.

Its the older drivers that scare the hell out of me. I dont mind if someone cuts me up and then acknowlegdes me after to admit liability but its when they just carry out with out a F'ing care in the world. Most of them are older drivers and they same younger drivers are putting the premiums up. B******S to that.

what makes you think mk2 drivers are better than everyone else?
judging by the Q's & opinions on mk2 forum a lot don't have a clue about the mechanical side of cars ie buy a 1.4, complain its slow then want to put a 16v or 1.8t in it FFS!
i'd put the age of most on this section as 18-24 ish?
ok there 's a few of us a lot older, just a generalised view of things in the same way most think french cars, vauxhalls fords fiats etc are crap & that vag cars are ace

i cant say much im the originaly carloz sienz ( spelt wrong? ) .. cant help it if some twat in a corsa with big bore wants a race i have to respond.

also im one of those 18-24 .. all cars are **** except vag... and old people that pull out and do 20mph piss me off.. and people who slow rite down because there is abit of rain piss me off.. infact most other road users regardless of whats happening get on my tits lol!...

maybe i should only go driving after 2am

I don't tend to see many. Mine is the only GTi in that green I've seen. Mostly old people swerving over the road.

some bint (sorry sexist i know) in a new micra started this afternoon - 2 lanes at the lights and she's behind reverses up and zooms to the outside revving away

revs the hell out of it off the line so i pull off as normal - short change to 2nd

as she hits 3rd off the reclined 2nd i just gently squeeze to about halfway and say bye bye

next set of lights about 1/2 mile away she slowly pulls across back in behind me and stays there

i was Pi$$ing myself i should put a (not a 1.4) sticker on mine i guess

personally im not old enough for hip trouble, not far off but still a while yet - i find most of em are jumped up teenagers that have nothing better to do than hassle me for a race in their 1.4's and sorry Dolly but you DON'T have to respond - use your head man

ive just turned 20, and i cant say i rag my GTI at all, im a 30 in a 30 guy - because of a story about my dad almost being killed by a boy racer knocking him off his motorbike doing nearly 60 in a 30, il never let that be me.

Haha, so tonight I got my first acknowledgment from a fellow ibiza driver A lad must have been about 21-22 in a blue 5 door mk3 cupra came into work earlier. My mate who I work with came up to me and said there's a lad wanting to talk to me about my car, so I went and saw him and he tried to sell my some lexus lights for my mk2 for £30. Noooo thanks! Just told him I'm selling it soon so there's no point really. And he said he'd waved at me a few times before but I'd never seen him!

I never notice anyone in other cars or pedestrians on the pavement. My mates are like "didnt you see me waving to you as you drove past?? It's not my fault my concentration goes on the road in front, and singing along to the stereo very very loudly at the top of my voice

lol!! .

The folk in my area change there cars like every month (dont know y ) and i aint been out in mine at nite in a while due the to f***ed pedal bx so she might have got rid of the gti n got sumthing else... I will have to find out tho.
