you will need a solinoid to open the boot electronically and run a switch to the front, not much work but problem for me as ive delocked my driverside so am very worried about locking myself out!!!

that looks awesome! apart from the colour (not to my paticular taste). how is that done and how do you then open the boot???

As above for getting into the boot. As for how it's done, there are a couple of ways but I'd personally remove the lock mechanism, weld a sheet of metal over the hole, smooth it and all weld marks, fill any odd surfaces to get it totally flush and then prime, paint and you're done.

It's a lot of work, but not a big deal for somebody who knows what they're doing. Might cost a few quid though!

jeeeezzzzz....i want to KEEP THE HANDLE...i just want to colour code the silver bit? has anybody done THAT?

Earlier you replied saying you wanted to remove the handle completely, now you're saying you want to keep the handle and you're getting shitty with people for talking about removing it?

Make your mind up!

where did i comment about "removing the handle permanently"?

Read Leigh15's post above, to save me having to quote the same part of the conversation as he has already done.

Techie says remove it completely and smooth it, you say that's exactly what I want to do Techie.
