What's the expected lifespan of a 2003 Cupra exhaust? I'm just past the 62k barrier at the moment

No just trying to budget things as in the past I've had new exhaust around this milage etc.

Can't afford it atm anyway as I start my new job on the 19th June and the missus just got made redundant today.

From experience, it depends on what sort of journey you do. If the car doesn't get time to warm up and blow the condensation through, it sits in the box and joints and they will rust

If you do loads of miles with good opportunities to give it a blast then the exhause is left nice and dry after the journey and will last longer. ;)

Motorway mileage is great for exhausts as the heat does them good. Short stop-start journeys cause condensation which can reduce the lifespan considerably. So using that as a guide should give you an idea of what to expect. A bit of everything driving should see you well into 100k + :)
