:p Hi everyone... after many weeks of waiting I finally picked up the car today! Must say it looks absolutely fantastic in the flesh... other Candy owners that are still waiting will not be disappointed. It looks superb! Found a new function on the computer on way home called "tip toe mode" to dodge in and out of the raindrops! haha

Havent had a chance to get my hands on it yet (or take any pics!) as it has been in having the stonechip film fitted today... still waiting to pick it up right now! Quite a job I understand being white because of dust particles... still be worth it. Looks fab with the mesh grill fitted, also 18s, mudflaps, alloy cupra pedals, xenons :)funk:), bluetooth, ipod, alloy trim interior pack. So far, having just p/ex the Ibiza TDI Cupra, I think the Leon's way ahead in billed and must admit ride quality and build feels far superior. A lot of people say the ride is harsh but they want to try the Ibiza!

One last note... couldnt believe my eyes but Michelin Pilot Sports have been fitted as standard  quite a surprise. Will post pics soon if it ever stops raining... although it looks the bees wet too!!

Which reminds me....

If your putting protection on it may be worth putting some on the piece of metal above the windscreen.

If you look at it, it sticks out a bit just after the top of the windscreen, you would not believe how many files i've already got covered over that bit (more than the rest of the front bumper/spoliers. This is going to be the worst areas on leons in years to come, as its metal so likely to rust rather than the front plastic spoiler.

Hey Stu,

skirts were delayed til but then arrived without warning on friday, so will be getting eveything done at the same time and wont have to wait.

Sounds like white will be more popular but still nowhere as popular as the blacks/greys/silvers/reds, so we will be just as exclusive. I think the other colours no-one goes for as much is the yellow, which looks just wrong and the brisa blue.

I liked the yellow but thought people would think i was trying to make my FR look like a Cupra, went for Luna Grey in the end but would likely get Candy White next looks great!!

Well done. Its worth the wait. Just find some nice b roads with some bends and enjoy it.
Just cleaned mine after ***** weeks. Should have done it earlier but been very busy. The flies stick to the paint like they where painted on from new.
