Mate, think we all hope they find her, but i really dont see how sending 10 text messages to your friends, changing your skin on myspace or bebo, chain emails or posting on a forum about it makes any diff!

I really do feel sorry for the girl and her family but, my opinion, and this is a strong one which a LOT of people dont agree with that its her parents fault for leaving there child in a forgien country hotel, in an unsupervised room unlocked and something happened to thhe little girl!

I blame the parents! You cant take anythin for granted in todays world, especially not your childs safety!

I have to agree, it's about as useful as the suggestion that "in support of 9/11" people put their MSN to 'Away'

Sorry, but unless you can suggest something, how can I.....

i'm glad i am not the only one thinking this then.
it's not their fault there are people in the world that do this, but your children should be #1 priority bar NONE.

Hope they find her but to be honest I've sort of lost hope.

I recall the case of Ben Needham (never found) and the crime programmes that say if you don't solve it in 48 hours your chances of solving a crime fall to less than 1%.

have to agree totally i seem to think that if you cant find her by now you never will esp not alive which is a shame and i feel sorry for the family etc, but most kids that are taken never see daylight again..

Saw this thread, and thought i'd better start looking. Not in my sock draw!

Parents fault, no doubt about that!

Hope they find her safe and well.

true but come on what world are we in when we cant leave things laying around without someone nicking it, i know its kids and they should never be left alone but the person who snatched her should get his head examined then hung drawn and quartered, then have loads of nasty things done to him that cause loads and loads of pain without killing him, slow and painful all the way for the sick b*stards...

Sorry, i appreciate its a very nasty case and should not have happened. But it also shopws why when me an my brother were yonuger my parents never left us unattended and sacrificed going out etc. They were and are great parents.

On top of that, lets get a sense of perspective over this, the press are using the story to sell papers, but yesterday 14 people died in Iraq, A man was stabbed to Death in south London on Friday noght and another stabbed to death in Sunderland. I do think this "Madeline case" thng has spiralled out of control. And every time a celebrity endorses it with a personal message it really becomes more in danger of appearing like a send up.

The only people who will find this girl is the Police so lets let them get on with it and hope they do. However does anybody not remember the case of Ben Needham back in the early 90's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Needham

End of the day they put a couple of million on finding her, anyone that has her would have spotted that.

If she was alive she would have been handed in by now.

It's sad but can't see anything else being true.

Agree with what's been said before; it's very sad, but if they hadn't of left her alone, she wouldn't have been taken.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to hide an alive child so I would be extremely surprised if they find her alive.

Agree with it being the parents fault, you cannot justify leaving a 4yr old child in an unsecure room in a strange place! Hope they do get closure on the case, alive all being well.

your telling me you find nothing suspicious about this whole event whatsoever. They leave there other 2 kids all the time to go around the place giving interviews.

They also suddenly have a friend as a witness saying she saw a guy carrying a girl in a blanket but this "friend" didnt think to say anything.

If true, it wouldn't be the first time, but no I don't believe they killed her or know about her death. Even if part of me reserves judgement I would not assert it in the way you have. Like I say I have some sympathy with you general point and the mixed up world we live in that places the value of some lives over others, but I am not going point the finger at this couple and essentially insinuate they know she' dead and where she's buried.

There's speaking your mind and there's being reckless...
