N249 Problems

I just buy a new Seat Ibiza Cupra Engine Code BBU and I have one problem.
I have some misfiring and the acceleration of the car is pour. The acceleration is ok until 4000 rev. then the car start to misfiring and the boost pressure is clump to 1bar with everything in normal. My diagnostic tool show : “Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249) : Mechanical Malfunction P1200 “
Note that I have aftermarket blow off valve and racing catalyst .
Please help me, in the Seat Comp. they just change the N249 and the problem is the same.

I think your Blow Off Valve is causing the problem, The 1.8 20VT engines dont like this type of valve, Have you tryed putting your standard DV back on?

Is a close loop valve just the Forge one, I don’t thing that’s the main problem. I just change also my spark plugs and are brown, is that look good ?

Check your vacuum hoses.

I check the vacuum hose 10 times everything look just ok. If it was hose problems, why the boos from the standard 0,7 bar increase to 1bar ? And not the opposite ?

What about bybass the N249 and connect only one hose from the engine throu the blow off valve ?

Bypass the valve anyway if you have an uprate DV.

Yes i have an Upgrade BOV, you meen to leave the fuse on the N249 but take the hose from the non retern valve direct to my BOV ?

Dear friend in my place we call them BOV (Blow off Valve) sorry !!!
Ok i will try the trick to by pass the N249 and i will tell you what happen.
