I got standard Discs from www.buypartsby.com for £50 for them delivered to the house for Quinten hazel ones. Can;t complain at that.

Easy enough job to do, although i'm not mechnically minded, so i got my mates up to do it. 35min for 2 people to change them.

I don't think there is any need at all for uprated discs and pads unless you are using them for track use etc.

just wondering, if going fast down hill round a slight bend and and you have to step on the brakes with the rears locking up couldnt that end up throwing you off the road?

nah. i had the back out a few times under braking, you just need to steer into it, or the esp i had cuts in ;)

are the 1.4 DAB breaks any bigger than like the sports? as 20 bhp might need bigger breaks or is this were the back disk comes in? as i would love to put rear disks on and make my breaks bigger... umm :p

The Dab has the same front breaks as the 1.4 sport and the sport has drums on the rear last time I checked. tbh I do not really notice much difference with the rear disks as appose to drums.
